1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VoucherVillage, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of any future amendments.
2. Description of Service
VoucherVillage provides a platform for users to share, discover, and claim supermarket vouchers. The service includes features for uploading voucher details, browsing available offers, and managing your voucher collection. VoucherVillage offers both a free tier and an optional Patron subscription tier with additional benefits — see section 5 for Patron-specific terms.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when sharing vouchers and to use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Voucher Sharing & Gifting
Vouchers shared on VoucherVillage must be genuine and valid at the time of posting. Users may not share counterfeit, expired, or fraudulently obtained vouchers. VoucherVillage does not guarantee the validity of any voucher shared on the platform. When you upload a voucher image, we may use AI-assisted processing (provided by Anthropic) to extract details such as face value, barcode, and expiry date. This extraction is provided as a convenience only — you are responsible for reviewing and confirming the accuracy of any pre-filled information before submitting.
5. Patron Subscription
VoucherVillage offers an optional Patron subscription available on a monthly (€2.99) or annual (€24.99) billing cycle. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe and automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your Patron subscription at any time via your Profile settings or the Stripe customer portal — upon cancellation, your Patron benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for any unused portion of a billing period. If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your Patron benefits (faster voucher access and extended claim windows) are removed, but your earned community tier status is unaffected.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property displayed on VoucherVillage are the property of their respective owners. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant VoucherVillage a licence to display and distribute it within the platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
VoucherVillage is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any voucher obtained through it.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately, and any active Patron subscription is cancelled with no refund for the remaining billing period. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform. Your continued use of VoucherVillage after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
